What are the benefits of yoga?
i'm talking about like physical, appearance benefits, i've read that yoga will tone your muscles...does that like mean you'll get skinnier? i don't really care about the mental stuff...

Should i change my yoga routine?
Since starting yoga on the wii fit i have noticed that my thighs have really slimmed down and my butt seems more defined. I am really chuffed Also my cellulite seems better. Does this happen to everyone who does yoga? My questions are 1.Is it ok to do yoga every day ? 2. I do the same routine every time, is this ok or should i change it to keep getting good effects? I know with other exercises you have to keep changing the routine as your body gets used to the moves.

Can my push-up/yoga help ?
ok so I have carpel tunnel, never diagnosed I guess but My wrist hurts every time it rains or the weather is going to change, I cant do a standered push up because my arms slightly bend at the elbow.. because of my wrist, In other words I cant do 40 push ups on my hands. what I would like to know is if I do some type of yoga every day would my hands eventually be able to with stand 40 push up ? would I ever be able to make a push up on my hands? I can do 70 on my fist but I would like to do them on my hands for the first time

What is a good style of yoga/good yoga video?
I am just starting to get into yoga and I'm not quite sure what style is best for me. I also have a very hectic schedule so I want to purchase a dvd I can do at home in my own time. I am just looking for something that will help me to improve my posture and tone up.

Why do my legs and abs shake during yoga?
Im not out of shape in fact my legs have always been exceeding strong due to basketball and snowboarding. But during yoga after some poses that require the abs and the legs, if I go to a more relaxed pose my legs will start to shake. Any ideas?

Doing yoga regularly offers many benefits, including making you feel better about your body as you become stronger and more flexible, toning your muscles, reducing stress and improving your mental and physical well-being.

Will it help you lose weight, though?

Answer: Practicing any type of yoga will build strength, but some types may not raise your heart rate enough to make them the only form of exercise you need to include in your weight loss regime. It depends on the type of yoga you select and how frequently you practice it.

In order to lose weight, you must eat healthily and burn calories by doing exercise that raises your heart rate on a regular basis.
